This book shows the approach to the Paço, from the avenue – with the chapel, the crenellated wall and the door on the axis. Although it is a relatively harmonious set, a series of unique imbalances are revealed: the asymmetry due to the side bodies with different heights and the building of 3 plants to the south; the regularity and adornment of the facades of the courtyard in contrast to the irregularity and austerity of the back facades. These characteristics reveal the origin of the construction of the Paço, according to the organic processes of adaptation, transformation, enlargement and also destruction. It is a book of particular architectural interest.
