“Black women who changed the world” is a project that seeks to give visibility to the valuable contributions made by black and Afro-descendant women to universal history, and in turn raise awareness of the need to show the children of our society with ethnic-racial diversity. “Black women in science” brings together the illustrated biographies of 12 black women who with their contributions in different fields of science and technology overcame barriers, became pioneers and made history, but remain unknown to a vast majority of people.
